Web 2.0 is giving me a headache

I'm trying to move all my blogger files to WordPress. WordPress has this handy-dandy importer-for-dummies button that literally does the work for you, so it's hard to understand why I'm having such a hard time clicking a button.

Well, the importer doesn't work with "new" blogger. Of course it doesn't. You know why it doesn't? Because I don't know how to import.

So, Josh gave me this link (yay Josh!): http://wiki.wordpress.org/BloggerImport. And I followed the instructions of the link except I made the path name / (is that good? bad? I don't know. That's what I was told to do).

And now, well now it doesn't work. And I need help. Please help.
